Thinking about comics’ greatest artist…
I miss Neal Adams. Larger than life and bombastic, he filled any room he was in. More than all that, he loved comics. Loved them.
I’ve written a ton about Neal over the years and had the pleasure of interviewing him many times. He also was gracious enough to contribute a number of guest columns to 13th Dimension.
It’s not like I saw him every day or anything even remotely close to that. Maybe a few times a year. I just miss the idea of him being around, holding court while drawing. He was always drawing.
