The highly-anticipated sequel to Black Panther is now well into production as it adds a new actor to its ensemble. Rising star Michaela Coel has joined the cast in an undisclosed role. Coel recently garnered acclaim for her performance in the hit HBOMax series I May Destroy You.
It’s anyone’s guess on who Coel is playing but I’m personally hoping for a character from one of the Midnight Angels, the most elite of the Dora Milaje. There are a few Midnight Angels that were introduced in the recent Ta-Nahesi Coates run that I would like to see Coel play. We cannot wait to see who she ends up playing.
