Team Liquid has been a mainstay of the Dota 2 scene since the game was in the open beta phase. After reading many updated lists, Team Liquid seems to have found its groove on its five-man roster of miCKe, Nisha, zai, Boxi and iNSaNiA. After Matumbaman gave farewell to the Dota 2-pro scene post-TI11, the team remained ill on the ground until Nisha joined them towards 2022, completing again their roster.
William Blitz Lee, coach of Team Liquids, shared some insights into the team performance and how they are doing in team coordination. Blitz talked out on the Cap & Blitz Podcast about their experience as Team Liquid is always in best position.

Blitz explained that the teams’ current roster is much more focused than its previous iteration. Players become more vocal and pitching their own ideas for success. This looks to have worked brilliantly for the team. It led the WEU DPC to a 7-0 series win streak, allowing only one match to drop in their series.
Blitz credited Lasse Matumbaman Urpalainen for carrying them throughout TI11, but with now MJV moving to carry role, it leaves room for their star mid-laner, Micha Nisha Jankowski to shine. Nisha has already achieved stellar play in their WEU series against the top teams in the region, with several pro players and Blitz saying that Nisha is the best mid-land player currently.
Since Team Liquid do not have a looming pressure on their heads anymore, Blitz stated that miCKe is much more confident and more calm in his own time. He credits Aydin iNSaNiA Sarkohis captaincy and his maturity as a player for all the teams past and recent success, especially the ability to let things go and focus on bigger picture.
Blitz went in the detail of drafting as well as stating that Ludwig zai Wahlberg wanted a more active approach to drafting, thereby helping iNSaNiA through the difficult process. The Cap andamp; Blitz podcast also details how the team works as a well-oiled machine. After the day the entire story of a team that was brought to light, the greatest thing we have ever had to do with Team Liquid is to hear the facts.
