Indonesian mid laner Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman has been having quite a year for Talon Esports.
Mikoto emerged as one of the best mid laners in the Southeast Asia region after leading his side to two of the three Dota Pro Circuit Majors this year.

The 23-year-old rising star said one of the main reasons why his confidence is on a high right now is due to the arrival of tema captain Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong and coach Lee “SunBhie” Jeong-jae.
“Probably I think what is making a difference is when we are studying the same lineup. Jabz and SunBhie have given a lot of impact on us,” said Mikoto.

“They are teaching us a lot and are always sharing a lot of information that we can learn from. So I think I am just confident more compared to last year,” he added.
Talon Esports missed the season-ending Bali Major, placing fourth with a 4-3 win-loss record.

Still, the team impressed in the following tournaments, reaching top four in the DreamLeague Season 20 and eventually qualifying to the Riyadh Masters 2023.
The team is also on track to receive a direct invitation in The International 12. Talon Esports is currently in sixth place in the DPC rankings with 1120 points.
And all that is thanks to Mikoto’s improved play in the middle lane.
