Just a month after getting booted out of Division I, NaVi immediately found its way back to the top tier division of the Dota Pro Circuit Eastern Europe after signing PuckChamp’s roster for the upcoming Tour 2.
NAVI made the announcement yesterday through its website and social media accounts.
“NAVI Dota 2 team dropped to the second division following an unsuccessful performance in the first round of DPC EEU 2023. We considered various options for the future roster, including leaving the discipline, but decided to return to the first division first,” NAVI said in a statement.
“Today we are excited to announce the signing of the PuckChamp roster to represent the club in the first division. Our slot in the second division will be taken over by NAVI Junior. We are certain our guys will welcome the opportunity to play against strong opponents to significantly accelerate their progress,” he added.

Meanwhile, Georgii “swedenstrong” Zainalabidov, the last player from the previous roster, was already put into the transfer list.
“The last player from the previous roster, Georgii “swedenstrong” Zainalabidov, has been made available for transfer. We thank Georgii for his time in NAVI and wish the best of luck in the future.”
NAVI also announced that it will still use its Division II slot and field an up-and-coming roster which consists of Taras “gotthejuice” Linnikov, Ričards “Ri4man” Kalniņš, Yurii “pma” Prots, Tamir “daze” Tokpanov, and Stanislav “Riddys” Mitroshkyn.
