Nigma Galaxy star Syed “SumaiL” Hassan is set to stand-in for Team Aster in the upcoming Berlin Major, his mother organization announced on Friday.
SumaiL is set to take the place vacated by mid laner Zhai “Xwy” Jingkai, who was recently put in the team’s inactive list.
“The King is going to Berlin. SumaiL will be standing in for Team Aster during the Berlin Major,” said Nigma Galaxy in a Facebook post.
Team Aster snagged the last and final Berlin Major spot in the Dota Pro Circuit China 2023 Tour 2: Division I after finishing the tournament with a 4-3 win-loss record.
Surely, Team Aster would need all the help it could get to boost its chances of qualifying to The International. The team currently stands outside of the Magic 12 with 360 points – good for the 14th spot.

A huge win in the Berlin Major can help the team barge into the Magic 12 and move closer on a TI return.
SumaiL, on the other hand, is coming off a disastrous DreamLeague Season 19 stint with Nigma Galaxy where they got booted out as early as the elimination round.
