
The CW has officially announced that “Superman & Lois” will return for a fourth season!
The last remaining DC property on the network, the series will return for one final season on The CW, reduced down to only 10 episodes.
According to Deadline.com, the agreement come through once negotiations over budget cuts were agreed on, with the number of series regular cast members being one area where costs cutting will take place.
“We are thrilled to bring All American: Homecoming and Superman & Lois back to The CW,” said Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment, The CW Network, in a statement. “These series are two of our strongest performers across our linear and digital platforms with some of the most passionate fanbases in all of television. We are grateful to our partners at Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions for their continued collaboration, and we cannot wait to get started on the new seasons.”
With two episodes remaining for the third season, “Superman & Lois” will be introducing Lex Luthor in the final two episodes, with Tyler Hoechlin recently alluding to an exciting cliffhanger ending.
