In the past few seasons, the Chinese dota team had tough issues. Last time an international team came to the helm in 2016 – Wings. PSG.LGD met twice in 2018 and 2021 and finished third in 2019, but their ultimate glory went away.
The drama frightened the Lima Major this month. The Dota Pro Circuit Winter Tour 2023, although promising, EHOME and Knights finished in last place, while PSG.LGD placed ninth and Team Aster finished seventh. In the eyes of Dota 2 fans, that has plenty to do.
The good news is not always that turning point would be the end of the day. A new team from the Dota 2 Superman team was formedor rather, rebuildunder the Xtreme Gaming banner with Ghost, Paparazzi, JT-, Kaka, and Dy.
The line-up isn’t completely new. LanM replaced Pyw, who left the Chinese organization earlier this week owing to the lack of performance resulting in a thrashing fifth in the DPC CN 2023: Division 1.
LaNm, who has been involved in the scene since 2011, is going to coach the new roster. His experience played a big role in Team Asters regional success in the past two years.
Hell look like Xtreme is a mistake. A good chance it’s going to disappear. They’re competing in the CN 2023 tour II in the next week’s Division One title, and if they can mesh, they’ll likely reach the top of the ladder.
